Menopause Group Therapy

Early in my career, I attended trainings under the premier group theorist Dr. Irvin Yalom, at Stanford University—an experience that deeply shaped how I practice today. I saw firsthand how powerful it is when individuals come together to share their stories, feel understood, reduce isolation, and reconnect with their strength.

Over the years, I’ve designed and facilitated groups that support women through life’s most tender and transformative moments—especially around reproductive transitions and midlife. Group therapy offers connection, validation, education, and a reminder that we are not alone or at fault.

I offer virtual and in-person support and therapy groups focused on emotional wellness through all seasons of womanhood, including menopause.

Midlife Magic

Exploring Midlife transitions with Self-Compassion and Community

This 6-week 1.5 hour psychotherapy group looks at the biological, psychological, social and interpersonal shifts that impact our self-confidence and mood mid-life.

Topics include midlife transitions (vs) midlife crises, impacts of menopause on sense of self, mood, health, relationships, and cognitive functioning), decline in overall health status, empty nesting, career re-exploration, retirement, re-energizing long term relationships, aging, caregiving for parents, living with ambiguity and sense of purpose.

Members are screened and registered for all 6 weeks. $125.00 per week, sliding scale options available Members must commit to payment of all 6 sessions An insurance superbill or claim can be provided at the end of the series

I can, however, offer education and support to individuals in addressing the emotional and physical challenges of this life phase, and connect them to relevant community resources.
