  • Life transitions

  • Challenges of later adolescence and young adulthood
  • The “what’s next?” in life
  • Grief and loss
  • Exploring relationship to substances

Welcome! I am glad that you have taken the first step to address your mental health and support needs. I know how daunting if can be to make this first call, so my site will tell you a bit about my practice to help you decide if I am a good fit for you and your needs.

I offer individual and group-based therapy and support to adults age 18+ through the lifespan. I incorporate psychoeducation, community resources and tool building for my clients and their supporters.  I have a passion and a mission to help individuals live their fullest lives without needless suffering by raising awareness (knowledge is power), enhancing self-compassion (you are not at fault), building community outside of our relationship (you are not alone) and tapping into resiliency (yes, you can feel better).

I hope that you will reach out to schedule a free consultation for us to have a chance to meet and to discuss how I can be of support to you.

Andrea Glover, LCSW, PMH-C

I have strong medical background and 30 years of providing psychotherapy across the lifespan to older adolescents, adults, and seniors. What clients truly appreciate is that I speak to them from lived experience — surviving and then thriving after a roller coaster of fertility challenges and mood shifts during pregnancy and postpartum. Most of my clients experience a reduction in distressing symptoms soon into treatment.

I offer in person and virtual sessions. Reach out today for a free consultation.

Choose Andrea Glover

I have a passion and a mission to help individuals live their fullest lives without needless suffering. I am a seasoned clinician with a strong background in medical social work, psychiatric social work and in providing individual and group-based psychotherapy.

A Welcoming
Environment

As an individual who has lived experience with fertility challenges, miscarriages, IVF, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADS) and mood dysregulation during perimenopause and menopause, my mission is to break the silence and isolation.

A Safe
Space

While others may not “get” what you are going through, my empathy meter is high. I will offer a space to safely share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement

A Positive
Experience

I want to break through the stigma and shift the view that seeing a therapist means there is “somethings wrong”, but rather view it as a sign of health.

"My style is direct, transparent, positive, warm, and interactive. Within the clinical relationship, I will work to create the safety needed to explore the issues that underlie mood dysregulation and challenges moving through various phases of life. "
