I’ve been seeing Andrea now for just under two years, and the benefits continue to be transformative. Andrea provides a safe and non judgmental space that allows me to speak freely and comfortably about difficult topics. Through talk therapy with Andrea, I’ve been able to get a better understanding of my emotions and have also learned better coping mechanisms for stress. As someone who had never been to therapy before I was hesitant to start, but am tremendously thankful I did. I would gladly recommend her to all.

Andrea is an incredible therapist who is knowledgeable in the field of
perinatal mental illness. As a mental health professional myself, I
was eager to work with someone who understood the nuances of becoming
a first time mom while also managing additional life stressors.
Andrea’s guidance and professionalism allowed me to make the most out
of my situation. I never once felt judged or ridiculed and I always
felt safe. Additionally, Andrea provided me with valuable resources
that I utilized throughout my pregnancy and continue to do so during
postpartum.

Andrea Glover was an outstanding colleague with whom I worked for 5 years in the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA. Her clinical insight and compassion for her patients resulted in improved lives across a spectrum of mental health issues. Four years after she left, I have spoken to former patients who are thankful that they were able to work with her.

At the same time, she’s very practical and realistic and helped me

Andrea is wonderful and anyone would be lucky to work with her! I only
recently started seeing her, but even right from the start, Andrea’s
warm demeanor and wealth of knowledge and experience made me feel
right at home. She strikes the perfect balance between listening and
engaging, asking probing questions and supporting you as you make
discoveries on your own. She truly takes the time to get to know who
you are at your core so she can best support you along whatever
journey you may be navigating. She has so many resources to draw from
as well so she can easily help guide you to any additional information
you may need. Highly recommend her!

Very understanding and compassionate. Andrea is very easy to talk to,
as if you’re just talking amongst your friends. She help me better
understand myself through my own reactions, as well as differentiate
the differences between doing something wrong and doing something
differently despite others opinions.

Andrea and I co-facilitated a bipolar education and support group for many years together. Andrea has a gift of being able to relate to all kinds of clients, and in any mental health state, she finds them in. Andrea is warm, down to earth, as well as organized and able to think on her feet. She is an amazing colleague, and I know she is a very strong advocate for all of her clients.
