Hey there! I’m Andrea Glover, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than three decades of experience working in the mental health field. I recently made the leap from the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area to the equally dynamic landscape of New York.

Today, I want to shed some light on a topic that’s dear to my heart—women’s mental health in Westchester County.

A Journey Across Cultures

In my extensive career, I’ve had the privilege of working cross-culturally with diverse individuals—men, women, and older adolescents hailing from various ethnic, racial, cultural, religious/spiritual groups, and sexual orientations. It’s been a fascinating journey, and it has significantly shaped my approach to mental health care.

The Westchester Connection

Now firmly rooted in Westchester County, I’ve noticed the unique challenges that women face when it comes to mental well-being. It’s crucial to recognize and address these challenges, fostering a supportive environment where women can thrive emotionally and mentally.

Anxiety & Depression Therapy

Anxiety and depression can cast a long shadow on anyone’s life, and Westchester County is no exception. The fast-paced lifestyle, societal expectations, pregnancy, and the constant hustle can take a toll on women’s mental health.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to provide top-notch anxiety therapy in Westchester County tailored to the needs of the incredible women in this community.

A Holistic Approach to Mental Health

In my private practice, I offer a range of services, including psychotherapy, psychoeducation, coaching, and consultation. Whether it’s an individual session, a family-focused approach, or engaging in supportive group sessions within the community, my goal is to create a space where women feel seen, heard, and understood.

Navigating Fertility Challenges with Carrot Fertility

Beyond my private practice, I’ve teamed up with Carrot Fertility, a global fertility benefits provider. As the Fertility Mental Health Clinical Consultant, I provide Expert Chat Sessions to those undergoing fertility treatments or embarking on a family-forming journey. It’s a privilege to offer support during these emotionally charged moments.

Qualifications and Expertise

Just to give you a bit of background, I earned my master’s degree from San Francisco State University. I’m licensed to practice in New York, California, and Connecticut. With a certification in perinatal mental health (PMHC), completion of Core 1 in Reproductive Mental Health, and over 100 hours of continuing education, I’m committed to staying at the forefront of the field.
